MCFI packs more than 23,000 breakfasts each day for students in Milwaukee Public Schools. Not only do children benefit from a nutritious breakfast, FUEL4U provides jobs for MCFI clients as well as MPS high school students.
Every weekday, between 23,000 and 30,000 packaged breakfasts are moving down the line at the MCFI Northeast Campus and into classrooms at Milwaukee Public Schools. Thanks to a collaboration among MCFI, Sysco and Milwaukee Public Schools, students are starting their day with a nutritious meal - and that's just one of the benefits of the FUEL4U Breakfast Packing program. It also provides work experiences - and paid jobs - for adults with special needs and students in the MPS School to Work program.
