Programs and Services

MCFI Children's Services help children and their families set a course for success.

Children's Programs

MCFI Children's Programs address our community's growing need for innovative early education and treatment for children with special needs. MCFI Pediatric Skilled Nursing offers skilled day nursing services for children with complex medical needs. The School for Early Development & Achievement, chartered through UWM, provides the basis for a lifetime of learning for children in grades K3 to 2nd grade. The MCFI Birth to Three program provides in-home therapies and parent education for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.


MCFI L.I.F.E. programs challenge participants to try new experiences.

Teen & Young Adult Programs

MCFI offers many ways to explore your world and develop your abilities. At MCFI L.I.F.E. programs, you'll make new friends, challenge yourself to try new experiences and reach new levels of independence every day. MCFI Adventures for L.I.F.E. Camps and Adventures for L.I.F.E. Travel will take you to places you'll never forget! And the new MCFI L.I.F.E. Academy will help you move from school to community with the skills you need to thrive.


MCFI clients have clear outcome goals that go well beyond the basics of care.

Adult & Older Adult Programs

Adults and older adults with disabilities and special needs connect to the community and achieve their highest levels of independence at MCFI. Our L.I.F.E. programs for adults with disabilities, special programming for individuals with traumatic brain injury, Older Adult Day Center, and New Health Services, which provides trained home care workers, are all aimed at improving quality of life.


MCFI offers job readiness training, placement and support.

Employment Services

People with disabilities and other barriers to employment find the services they need to be successful at MCFI. We offer vocational assessment, employment readiness training, job placement and on-the-job support. MCFI Commercial Services offers top-quality packaging services and our Hospitality Academy provides on-the-job training in commercial kitchen and custodial work. All of MCFI's Employment Services have the same goal - to assist our clients to reach their highest levels of achievement.


Expertly trained health care workers are in demand in today's job market.

Health Care Training Programs

MCFI's health care training classes include Certified Nursing Assistant courses, CBRF training and continuing education classes for CNAs and CBRF caregivers.


Dr. Rosalyn McFarland is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

Whole Health Primary Care

Whole Health Primary Care provides medical care and wellness services across the lifespan.


The TLS Pharmacy offers clients convenient ways to manage medications.

Whole Health Clinical Group

Whole Health Clinical Group provides assertive behavioral health services focused on recovery. Services include case management, housing, a pharmacy, and crisis intervention.


MCFI Therapies are aimed at helping clients accomplish specific goals.


MCFI Therapists use state-of-the-art techniques to help children, adults and older adults reach their rehabilitation and communication goals. We offer occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. Expressive arts therapies use music and art therapy to help people with disabilities improve their conditions and achieve a better quality of life through the creative arts.
