Adults ages 60 and older with developmental disabilities enjoy the benefits of MCFI's Senior L.I.F.E. program, which encourages participants to be connected to and involved in the life of the community. 

 

Swimming at a local YMCAA focus on wellness

Adults ages 60 and above who are living with developmental disabilities make the most of their abilities when they participate in MCFI's Senior L.I.F.E. program. Benefits include:

  • Memberships at community senior centers
  • A holistic health and wellness approach, supervised by a Registered Nurse
  • Exercise, including swimming and walking experiences
  • Music therapy
  • Art classes
  • Reminiscing experiences to maintain memory power
  • Regularly-scheduled outings to destinations like the Milwaukee County Zoo, local coffee shops, festivals and community events.
