Welcome to the Milwaukee Center For Independence
The Milwaukee Center For Independence has been a leader in providing services for people with special needs and their families since 1938. It has been our honor and privilege to reach more than 10,000 people each year with effective early intervention, education, job training, diversity and inclusion programs that provide dignity and personal independence.
The agency has been honored to receive a number of awards recognizing our excellence in programming and management. This reflects not only the quality of our programs and staff, but also the community’s growing awareness of the increasing need to assist children, adults and older adults with disabilities to reach their highest levels of independence. Our greatest reward, however, comes from seeing clients grow in confidence and abilities.
With the special needs population growing, MCFI will continue to be responsive in offering innovative solutions to assist people of all ages to better live and work in our community.
