About MCFI

• The agency is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, community-based rehabilitation facility.
• Serves nearly 10,000 children, adults and families each year.
• Offers more than 50 programs and services.
• Has a caring, licensed and professional staff of nearly 300.

Size

MCFI has an annual budget of $48 million. We have 276 employees in our core programs. About 50 volunteers serve on our boards and committees, and about 350 other volunteers assist our work in various ways.

Clients Served

• There were 6,748 individual participants in our core programs in 2007. With the addition of our affiliated programs -
  iCare and our school nutrition program - our agency served nearly 10,000 people in 2007.
• More than 75% of our clients have incomes below federal poverty guidelines.
