Independent Care Inc. (iCare) is a health and social services Medicaid or Title 19 program formed in 1994 as a joint venture between Humana Wisconsin Health Organization and MCFI. iCare coordinates medical, dental, behavioral health, vision and prescription drug coverage for nearly 20,000 people ages 19 and older with physical, developmental, emotional disabilities or low incomes to ensure they are receiving the services they need.

iCare received a national award for excellence in the U.S. Department of Health and Social Services "Models that Work" competition.
