Older Adult Day Center
The MCFI Older Adult Day Center serves adults ages 60 and over, including the frail elderly and those with Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. Some exceptions are made for clients under the age of 60 who meet admission criteria and are able to effectively integrate into the program.
We help older adults to function as independently as possible in a safe, welcoming environment. Activities are designed to enhance quality of life, prevent premature institutionalization and provide respite of caregivers and families.
The center is a state-certified adult day service with a full-time on-site Registered Nurse, social worker and activity supervisor. Licensed professionals offer physical, speech, occupational and music therapies.
We offer sensory-focused programming and therapies for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. Personal services, such as whirlpool baths, are available and nutritious, hot noon meals are provided.
Participants develop new friendships, enjoy cultural and creative activities, take part in exercise and wellness programs and connect with the wider community.
