Certified Nursing Assistant Training
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are in demand in today's job market, and the need for CNAs is growing rapidly as the population ages. The Milwaukee Center For Independence (MCFI) is now offering a series of CNA training classes at its Main Campus, 2020 W. Wells St.
A unique aspect of MCFI's CNA training is that students will be able to work in a variety of settings during the clinical portion of the course. Students will gain experience working with different age groups and populations, including medically fragile children, adults with developmental disabilities and older adults.
The course consists of 120 hours of classroom training, 20 hours of which are clinical. The clinical portion is held on-site at MCFI's Main Campus, so that students don't have to go to multiple locations for this part of the training.
We also offer separate classes in Supportive Home Care, Personal Care and other health care topics.
