The Network of African American Colleagues
The mission of the Network of African American Colleagues (NAC)\ is to enhance workplace culture for African American employees throughout the agency through four major focus areas:
•Facilitate inclusion of a diverse workforce through attracting, recruiting, and retaining talented
African American employees through all levels of the agency.
•Foster growth and career advancement of African Americans through mentorship and leadership development.
•Deliver cultural education and communication to staff and leadership, in order to promote cultural competence and best practices.
•Provide a support network for African Americans to celebrate success as well as strengthen professional relationships and engagement within the agency.
