Fostering Recovery

Clean, safe and affordable housing is an important element in recovery from mental illness. Whole Health Clinical Group provides a variety of housing options in communities throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. The agency owns, manages and maintains nearly 200 housing units for people with mental illness. Not only is decent housing a basic right, it is also an essential component of treatment and recovery.

Types of Housing
  • Community-based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) provide intensive, round-the-clock services
  • Supported Apartments offer residents support services as well, but on a less intensive basis than for residents living in CBRFs
  • Independent Apartments

Housing units are located throughout Milwaukee County. Most are one-bedroom units, although two-bedroom apartments occasionally become available. Rents are very affordable.

A wide range of recovery-oriented services are available through Whole Health Clinical Group and its parent organization, the MIlwaukee Center for Independence.
