Success Story: Finding a Voice

At age 10, Tony acquired a brain injury after a near-drowning accident. Because of that, he was unable to speak and express his needs or feelings. Until recently, that is. An MCFI speech therapist, using a device with eye-gaze technology, helped Tony, now in his 30s, “talk” for the first time since the accident – and he’s elated!

What We Offer

  • Speech, physical, occupational, recreation, aquatic and music therapies enhance the delivery of all MCFI services to help people improve their motor, physical, sensory and cognitive skills and, ultimately, re-integrate into the community.

Who We Serve

  • Adults and children with physical or developmental disabilities, neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury or stroke, and orthopedic conditions.
